Free Health Check-Up Camp – Laxminagar, Yerawada, Pune | 04 September 2024

The Free Health Check-Up Camp was successfully organized on 04 September 2024 at Krantiveer Lahuji Vastad Sanskrutik Hall, Laxminagar, Yerawada, Taluka Haveli, District Pune. This healthcare initiative was jointly conducted by Vruddha Mitra (School Organization) and Healing Hands Foundation, Pune, with the objective of providing accessible healthcare services and spreading awareness regarding anorectal and related disorders. The camp mainly focused on diseases such as piles, fistula, fissure, hernia, and other associated health conditions, helping beneficiaries receive early diagnosis, proper consultation, and expert medical guidance.

The camp received active participation and support from representatives of Vruddha Mitra organization, including Chetana Sham Bhujbal, Anita Chandane, Mangal Jhate, Harshada Kasbe, Rekha Gaikwad, and Radhika Godke, along with social workers and respected members from the Laxminagar and Yerawada community. Their contribution played an important role in the successful organization and smooth execution of the health camp.

During the camp, Dr. Ashwini Pargewar conducted medical examinations and consultations for a total of 71 patients, providing expert advice and healthcare guidance regarding treatment and preventive care. Representatives from HHCRS, Mr. Swapnil Mane and Snehal Matkari, guided the beneficiaries regarding proper nutrition, balanced diet, and healthy lifestyle practices. Counseling services were also provided, and free medicines were distributed to ensure immediate medical support and care for the patients.

The registration and beneficiary coordination process was efficiently managed by Mrs. Anita Said (Camp and Program Coordinator) along with volunteers and workers from the Vruddha Mitra organization, ensuring smooth management and proper documentation throughout the camp activities.

As a token of appreciation for their active participation and contribution, certificates and caps were distributed to the volunteers and social workers by Healing Hands Foundation Pune. The camp was supported by a dedicated team from Healing Hands Foundation Pune, including Dr. Ashwini Pargewar, Mrs. Anita Said, Anand Misal, and representatives from HHCRS including Mr. Swapnil Mane and Snehal Matkari.

The entire event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Snehal Porwal (Secretary), Dr. Ashwin Porwal (President), and Mrs. Madhura Bhate (Organization Coordinator). Their leadership and support ensured the successful implementation of the camp, contributing significantly toward spreading healthcare awareness and delivering essential medical services to the local community.
