We believe that working for others is not a job, it is joy! Just like the Sun that gives light and warmth to the world without expecting anything in return, we hope to spread the sunshine of health and happiness in areas of society that are shadowed by illness and disease. Being intimately associated with Healing Hands Clinic, Healing Hands Foundation saw its earliest work in the field of anorectal diseases. However, although the work has been focused on these diseases, in the long term, HHF proposes to extend its scope to other areas of social work.
We care!!! At a time when ignorance outweighs true knowledge, apathy eclipses compassion and doubt dampens faith, we are a group of people sincerely committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of the less fortunate. A lot of us are blessed with perfect health, spacious houses, rewarding jobs and luxurious lifestyles. Thus, Healing Hands Foundation (HHF) was conceived with this simple thought; if we do not spare a thought for those in need, then who?
HHF is a non-governmental, not-for-profit, charitable organization that aims to provide medical care to the truly needy. Health is not a privilege; it’s a fundamental right. This very right is denied to thousands of people every day. The vicious cycle of poverty, illiteracy and ignorance towards health has overburdened our society with disease and disability. As a small initiative to tackle this situation, Healing Hands Foundation aims to reach out to the underprivileged, by providing integrated care comprising preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. Having worked in the health service sector for more than a decade we have succeeded in building trust and faith in the minds of our patients. We are determined to carry forth the same dedication and compassion in serving our less privileged fellow beings. We believe that charity is not merely an objective dispensation of wealth. Rather, it is empathy towards another’s suffering; it is a response to the goodness in your soul that calls out to help someone in need.
