Conditions like piles, fissure, constipation, fistula, pilonidal sinus have a surprisingly high incidence in the population, but shame and awkwardness come along with it. These inhibitions become stronger when it comes to women. One might feel it is only true in rural areas, but surprisingly many urban women sweep it under carpet too.

Madhura Bhate,( NGO coordinator, HHF) addressed the same to everyone present. Suman Darekar ( President, Mahila Gruha Udyog Sanstha), supported the drive. Anita Said(Camp Coordinator, HHF) arranged the drive under the guidance of Dr. Ashwin Porwal(President, HHF) and Dr. Snehal Porwal(Secretary, HHF). Members were diagnosed by Dr. Ashwini Pargewar and counseled by Madhura Bhate and Tejashree Khalate. All of them benefitted with free medicines and expert dietary guidance on anorectal conditions.
