The Free Health Check-Up Camp was successfully organized on 17 August 2025 at Maitri Healthcare Charitable Organization, located behind Kesnand Police Station, next to Mahadev Temple, Kesnand, Taluka Haveli, District Pune. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Maitri Healthcare Charitable Organization, Budharani Hospital, and Healing Hands Foundation, Pune, with the objective of providing accessible healthcare services and spreading awareness about anorectal and related disorders. The camp primarily focused on diseases such as hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures, hernia, constipation, and other related conditions, ensuring early diagnosis and proper medical guidance for the rural community.

The camp witnessed the presence and active participation of key members from Maitri Healthcare Charitable Organization including Balasaheb Pokharkar (President), Priya Pokharkar (Secretary), Komal Deshmukh, Kisan Pokharkar, Shivprasad Gosavi (Working Chairman), along with Shrikant Subhash Patole (Pune District Vice President, Nationalist Youth Congress – Ajit Dada faction), Uday Singh Dhamodhar Waghmare (Camp Coordinator, Budharani Hospital), and several social activists and local volunteers from Kesnand.

During the camp, Dr. Ashwini Pargewar examined a total of 220 patients, providing expert consultation and medical advice. The beneficiaries were guided on anorectal conditions, including piles, fissures, fistula, and constipation, with emphasis on lifestyle modifications and preventive care by Mrs. Anita Said (Camp and Program Coordinator). Additionally, Tejashree Khalate (Counselor) provided valuable guidance on balanced diet and nutrition for maintaining good health.

The registration process was efficiently managed by Mrs. Sheetal Bhosale (Camp Assistant), ensuring proper documentation of beneficiaries and smooth coordination throughout the camp. Free medicines were distributed to the patients by Mrs. Anita Said, supporting effective treatment and relief for the beneficiaries.

The camp was supported by a dedicated team from Healing Hands Foundation Pune, including Dr. Ashwini Pargewar, Mrs. Anita Said, Tejashree Khalate, Mrs. Sheetal Bhosale, Anand Misal, and Damodar Adhaw, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. The entire program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Snehal Porwal (Secretary), Dr. Ashwin Porwal (President), and Mrs. Madhura Bhate (NGO Coordinator). Their leadership played a crucial role in the success of the camp, contributing significantly to promoting preventive healthcare and delivering essential medical services to the rural population.
