Free Health Check-Up Camp – Janwadi, Gokhale Nagar, Pune | 09 July 2025

The Free Health Check-Up Camp was successfully organized on 09 July 2025 at Janwadi Manju Mitra Mandal, located in Janwadi, Janata Vasahat, near Navnath Society, Gokhale Nagar, Taluka Haveli, District Pune. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Wridha Mitra Sanstha, Janwadi Manju Mitra Mandal, and Healing Hands Foundation, Pune, with the objective of providing accessible healthcare services and spreading awareness about anorectal and related disorders. The camp primarily focused on diseases such as hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures, hernia, constipation, and other related conditions, ensuring early diagnosis and proper medical guidance for the local community.

The camp witnessed active participation from members of Wridha Mitra Sanstha and Janwadi Manju Mitra Mandal, including Sonali Dhotre, Sushma Vitkar, Anuradha Marathe, Dipa Salunke, and Geeta Datre (Yardi), along with other social activists and local volunteers from Janwadi, Janata Vasahat, and Gokhale Nagar. Their support played a significant role in the successful organization of the camp.

During the camp, Dr. Ashwini Pargewar examined a total of 51 patients, providing expert consultation and medical advice. Mrs. Sheetal Bhosale (Camp Assistant) guided the beneficiaries about maintaining a balanced diet and also distributed free medicines to the patients, ensuring immediate support and care.

The registration process was efficiently handled by Mrs. Anita Said (Camp and Program Coordinator), ensuring smooth coordination and proper documentation of all beneficiaries. Certificates were also distributed to the volunteers in recognition of their valuable contribution and active participation in the camp.

 

The camp was supported by a dedicated team from Healing Hands Foundation Pune, including Dr. Ashwini Pargewar, Mrs. Anita Said, Mrs. Sheetal Bhosale, Anand Misal, and Damodar Adhaw. The entire event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Snehal Porwal (Secretary), Dr. Ashwin Porwal (President), and Mrs. Madhura Bhate (NGO Coordinator). Their leadership ensured the successful execution of the camp, contributing significantly to promoting preventive healthcare and delivering essential medical services to the community.
